About Me

I am currently a Research Scientist at Meta. Previously, I worked as a senior research scientist at Kwai Inc. and Megvii Technology. Before that, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. My research interests include machine intelligence, image and video processing, and computer vision. I mainly focus on how to capture and understand the real world conveniently and accurately with computer vision and graphics techniques.


I received my Ph.D. degree from Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in July 2015, advised by Prof. Qionghai Dai in the BBNC lab. I was a visiting student working with Prof. Linda Shapiro at Department of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle, USA, from September 2012 to May 2013. I also worked closely with Dr. Jue Wang at Adobe Research during my Ph.D. I got my B.E. degree (with honor) from School of Communication & Information Engineering, Shanghai University, Shanghai, China, in July 2010.
